a little glitter to start your week....

This post is a LONG time coming...
But really...
there is no expiration date when it comes to ALL things glitter!

So let's get on with the SHOW...
so to speak...

This lovely lady that I know..
ALWAYS thinks BIG!
Never small, never medicore..
ALWAYS over the top..
In fact..
I like to think of her as P.T. Barnum..
She is the Ringmaster..
and you never know what amazing thing she has in store for you...

She has the ability to gather the most creative individuals and then
produce the "Greatest Show" on Earth!

She is..
Miss Amy Graver of Elements Design!

I have been lucky enough to work side by side with her on many many projects...
BUT
I think by far her favorite project is...
The Graver Family New Years Card...
I absolutely love that she puts just as much heart and soul into her personal projects as she does for her Elements clients..

So this Ringmaster wrangled up quite the list of performers for her show..
Jennie Fresa for some glittery beauty...
Anna Sawin for some camera magic..
and
myself for literally creating the "Big Top"...

When it comes to glitter my friends...
how can a girl say no...

It all began with a "secret" Pinterest board...
Balloon Image: Martha Stewart  Tank Top: Target  Backdrop:BashShop on Etsy
Shower Curtain: Anthropologie  Headphones: Amazon  Champagne Tower: Martha Stewart
Glitter Eye:Chrisspy Makeup   Glitter Boots: Charlotte Russe
Balloon Image: Green Wedding Shoes
Board: Chocolate Creative Design

Then..
the "tent" was raised..
in the Chocolate Creative Design studio...

Miss Jennie Fresa worked her glittery magic...
Dress: Miss Me     Gold Necklace: Express
Crystal necklace: Target  Belt: H & M   Earrings: Target

The champagne began to flow..

Glasses: Arrow Party Rental   Balloons, Tinsel: iparty
Step Stool: Home Depot   Sequin Fabric: Joann
Bracelet: Express   Ring: Target

Tinsel and glitter filled the air!
Sequin Top: Target   Skirt: Childrens Place
Vest and Shoes; Miss A's own

The music began to play...

and
Voila!!

Miss Anna Sawin captured the magic...

While the Ringmaster herself...

designed THE most fabulous AND of course BIGGEST (8.5 x 11) New Years Card to date...
Let's not forget that it came complete with it's own confetti!

So thanks yet again to that AMAZING Ringmaster, Miss Amy Graver...
for allowing us all to be a part of your MOST creative, MOST fun and MOST glittery traveling circus!

Huge thanks to Allison Keck of Arrow Party Rental for the FABULOUS champagne coupes!

Happy Weekend!!!!!

Image created by Ryan Doco Connors

Happy Weekend Everyone!!!

Brrr...the weather has finally turned and we are getting a glimpse of a very very long winter ahead.

However...Today is a very special day...
I have been invited by one of my sweet as pie brides, Miss Eleanor, to ooooh and ahhh as she finds her perfect gown.
Now I don't have a sister...but this cute as a button bride is surely becoming it and I am deeply flattered and honored that she has included me in such a momentous day!

It reminds me of how much I miss being a part of the WHOLE process...I LOVE creating the paper but the addition to styling an event allows me to see it all come together and perhaps get a glimpse of the beautiful bride on the big day..

So I am super deliciously excited to not only create the paper but style Eleanor & Matt's wedding as well. Styling has always been a part of Chocolate Creative Design's repertoire...but as the business (and myself) morphs and grows, I have decided to embrace and joyfully expand that area of creativity!

So today is dress up girlie day....
I get to hang with the lovely girls at The White Dress at the Shore
(one of the best bridal shops in the Northeast)
glamorously surrounded by glitter and tulle..

Then I will hop skip and jump over to Miss Jennie Fresa's studio
(The only person I trust to paint my face)
and pick up some very much needed products(I am OBSESSED)
from her beauty/makeup line.
Miss Jennie's studio has just gotten a fabulous makeover along with a new yummy site where I will be able to order her products online!

Now I LOVE my yoga pants (sad but true), plastic dinosaurs, praying mantises and grass stained knees but
there is something about pretty dresses and magical makeup that does a soul good!

So thank you Miss Eleanor...
it's amazing how a simple gesture can truly feed the heart!

Be Safe, Stay Warm and Have a Great Weekend!!!

Holiday Gift Guide Day 1 Beauty by Jennie Fresa Beauty Library

In Wikipedia under the word beauty should be a picture of Miss Jennie Fresa. It's her passion,it's what she does and who she is all tied up in a cute as a button package. Not only is she making brides glow all over the tri-state area, she has come up with her own make-up line to allow the rest of us to glow as well. The minute you meet this sweet pixie, you are friends for life. I have worked professionally with Miss Jennie on many photoshoots and weddings but it's my personal relationship with her that I favor the most. She has turned this tomboy into a false eyelash wearing, glitter seeking lady. I have become so obsessed with her mineral powder and tinted moisturizer that I absolutely cannot live without them! A little birdie did tell me that soon you will be able to order those products online. However, there is nothing like meeting her in person...it truly completes the experience!!

So onward and upward..the fabulous Miss Jennie Fresa!
