Happy Weekend Everyone!!

I spent the most glorious first day of Spring romping, running and swinging with my boys at our most favorite place on earth...
It was heavenly..
To smell treasures from the sea washed ashore ..
To feel the newly thawed earth gently move under our feet..
 To see tiny green shoots emerge through rusty brittle leaves..
To taste the salty sea on our lips..
To hear  the sound of waves lapping against the deserted beach..

It was just enough to get my battery going once again...
You see..
 I need ALL my energy in the next coming weeks to create a fabulous wedding invitation suite for the lovely Michaela & Mike..
And..
even though I may be inside watching these early Spring days through my window..
with every cut to the paper..
I will be dreaming of..
 warm gentle breezes under a summer starry sky listening to the sounds of laughter while breathing in the salty sea air of Cape Cod..

I'm DONE..

Done with Mother Nature and her Polar Vortex..

Done with freezing temperatures..

Done with snow, hail and sleet..

Done with watching the Tall One have a heart attack over the many oil deliveries..

Done with white tipped fingers and toes...

DONE. DONE. DONE. 

Luckily..

This weekend we will be keeping warm and toasty..

There will be a cake with many, many, many, many, very, very, very tall candles flickering to keep us warm..

 I dare say..

I am a bit envious for what the Monster and I have in store for the Tall One..

Even though he may not want to eat a slice of cake as he has become quite the born again health guru..

That just means there is more for the Monster and I...
