Happy Mother's Day!

Moms...

We all have them. Some are near, some are far and some we cannot see, but they are always with us and in our hearts. Last year, I  spoke just about my Mom...This year, I wanted to acknowledge the "other mothers". Ok, I know it sounds like the title of a very very scary movie, but it is quite the opposite. You see, I just so happen to have these lovely ladies in my life who are nurturing, protecting and loving my son just as he was their very own.

 In fact, The Monster has Five of them.

The Crush

The Comedienne & Girl Interpreter

 The Gentle Soul

Not only is he the luckiest boy alive to have Six mothers but I am as well. This group of beautiful, strong and creative women teach me how to be a better mom and for that, I am eternally grateful.

It is true what they say, it takes a village to raise a child.

They have also given me Four girls and Two boys to add to my brood. So really, I am a mother to Seven beautiful monkeys.

and a huge kiss to the Tall One, because without him I would never have become a mother.
